In June we visited a couple of areas of shore which are not within a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) covering the intertidal area, but which are part of wider areas of protection.

After a brief gap in August we carried out several Shoresearches in September as well as completing our first public have-a-go session.
With the nights drawing in, surveying low tide in daylight around North Wales becomes trickier, so we made the most of the large Spring tides earlier in October, before the clocks turned.
Now we’re properly into winter, we’re expecting to see less living on shore, especially in terms of some algae. This month we tried a different approach with our volunteers and were rewarded…
