The village is well known for its industrial past and the 1925 Eigiau Dam Disaster. The Project aims to increase biodiversity in the wider landscape and create accessible routes where wildlife and people can thrive together.

North Wales Wildlife Trust's 35 nature reserves are all unique in their own right. They support both common and rare plants and animals that may not exist anywhere else in North Wales. Irresponsible uses of our nature reserves include dog walking off-lead, cyclists, joggers and walkers deviating from footpaths lead to huge negative impacts on these sensitive sites.

Wales Transport Strategy consultation

The Wales Transport Strategy (WTS) is the Welsh Government's strategic plan for all forms of transport, from now until 2040. However, we are dismayed that it doesn't refer to the Red Route at all.
