There is an abundance of wildlife in Mold and the local area, however these plants and animals are at risk of declining, through a lack of connectivity between habitats and of people to wildlife. North Wales Wildlife Trust's 35 nature reserves are all unique in their own right. They support both common and rare plants and animals that may not exist anywhere else in North Wales. Irresponsible uses of our nature reserves include dog walking off-lead, cyclists, joggers and walkers deviating from footpaths lead to huge negative impacts on these sensitive sites.
