BRENIG OSPREYS UPDATE

05/09/21

BRENIG FEELS EMPTY – SAFE JOURNEY BOTH

It looks very much as though both LM6 and LJ2 have now left Brenig on migration to their wintering grounds.

After spending the night on the perch LM6 was last seen when she left at 7.39am on 29/8/21, she has not returned to the perch since.

LJ2 has not been seen since leaving the perch at 7.55pm on 30/8/21. It is likely that he left the next morning, 31/8/21.

The strong bond between LM6 and LJ2 keeping them together, and their tenacity for remaining at Brenig has touched all our hearts. Please join us in wishing our ospreys a safe migration, both to their wintering grounds, and for their return to Brenig in the spring.

Photos of the last time we saw them together, LM6 just before leaving and flying off from the perch on the 29th and LJ2 on the 30th.
