About the event

The walk includes tree lined lanes and public footpaths, including a section of the Anglesey Coastal Path along the Menai Strait. We'll call into the woodland reserve of Coed Porth-aml.

This nature reserve was used as a limestone quarry from the time of the ancient Britons right up until the twentieth century. Although located near the popular Anglesey coast, the woodland feels quiet and secluded, and is a great place to see woodland birds and butterflies.

Don't forget to bring a picnic! We'll stop for a bite to eat with a view over the Menai Strait, into Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula, whilst watching the birds and other wildlife.
