Get hands on for wildlife

If you like working outdoors, or would like to give it a try, why not come along to one of our conservation work parties?

These take place on our nature reserves every week throughout the year. It’s a great way to get involved with practical conservation work, whilst enjoying the company of other people.

About conservation volunteering days

Our work days usually run from 10 a.m. until late afternoon but you can come along for the whole day or just for a couple of hours. All help is greatly appreciated and no experience is required. Our staff are always on hand to provide tools, training and support. All you need are old clothes (appropriate for the weather); work boots or wellies and a packed lunch.

Volunteer work parties are a great way to meet a wide variety of people who share similar interests
