About the event

Join us as we return to Deganwy's species-rich habitat with the site warden. Explore the wildlife and learn about the progress being made to restore the landscape.

In July 2024 volunteer warden Julian Pitt led a fascinating walk for us on the Vardre in Deganwy. His efforts to restore some of the habitat and interesting diversity to this SSSI were impressive but there was still much to do. Home to slow worms, solitary bees, and some unusual flora, this is your chance to see how the site has developed over the year. If you missed out last time, you're welcome to come along and discover the amazing work being done here to preserve wildlife.
