About the event

Why not come along and explore our nature reserves? As part of the walking events, there is the opportunity to attend a guided walk on two of our nature reserves.

Y Graig Nature Reserve near Tremerichion on Saturday 16 May.

Big Pool Wood Nature Reserve near Gronant on Sunday 17 May.

All the walks are rated for different abilities and there should be something for everyone.

Join professional wildlife photographer Gary Jones for an exclusive opportunity to capture the diverse birdlife around Llyn Brenig.

A pair of black grouse, large black birds with white feathers on the underwing and tail feathers, and a red comb on their heads. The birds are facing each other, the one on the left has it's wings and one leg raised in display. The moor they are on is very brown and dull in colour, but lit with the earliest dawn sunlight adding a touch of yellow to everything and making the grouse almost glow with an outline of sunlight.
