About the event

Kate Philbin is a North Wales based illustrator and art teacher. She'll be teaching us how to get started in creating our own nature journals to help record the wildlife we find on Cors Goch Nature Reserve.

Together we'll identify plants on the reserve and have a go at drawing and painting them into our sketchbooks to create interesting records which can then be added to.

Nature journaling offers a multitude of benefits, it can reduce stress, improve mood, boost creativity, and enhance observation skills, while also promoting a sense of wonder and gratitude, as well as fostering a deeper connection with the natural world.

This event is suitable for experts and beginners.

All materials will be provided.

This event is part of our Nature Counts project. During our events, we'll be recording the species we find as part of a citizen science project to help us manage our nature reserves and local habitats
