Join a relaxed walk around Rhiwledyn’s limestone headland. Discover the plants, insects and birds that thrive here.

Meeting point

Meet at the entrance to Rhiwledyn Nature Reserve LL30 3AY. w3w/ loaded.toned.ruby. Park on Colwyn Road beachfront (near the lifeboat station) and walk to the entrance. Limited parking at the reserve, so allow time for the short walk.

About the event

Come along for a 1.5 mile circular journey from Rhiwledyn Nature Reserve to Porth Dyniewaid (Angel Bay), where you’ll encounter dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden wildflowers, and the buzz of busy insects. Listen out for choughs calling overhead and spot colorful butterflies flitting among the grasses.

Mobility

The walk includes uneven, rocky terrain with some uphill and downhill sections. It’s best suited for intermediate walkers. Note: there are no toilets along the route.
