BBC Springwatch is coming LIVE from North Wales

We are fortunate enough to have some of the most diverse and beautiful landscapes on Earth, right here in North Wales.

BBC Springwatch brings some of our most precious wildlife and habitats to our living rooms, and returns to BBC2 from Monday 29th May for three weeks of live programmes. The series features daily features from wild places around North Wales and we're really excited to be hosting LIVE broadcasts from our nature reserves:

  • Gwaith Powdwr - Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 May, Springwatch BBC2, 8-9pm

  • Cemlyn - Tuesday 13 June, Springwatch BBC2, 8-9pm

If you’re inspired by Springwatch to get out and explore nature on your doorstep or want to find out more about some of the places and species featured, read on…

Discover how this post-industrial landscape has been reclaimed by nature with species such as lesser horseshoe bats and palmate newts all making the most of the remnants of the former explosives factory.
