Event details
About the event
In collaboration with Wrexham County Borough Council, we are delivering the Wrexham Swift Project. Join us for an evening talk to discover the extraordinary lives of these wonderful birds.
Learn about the efforts that are helping change the fate of their declining populations, with guest speaker Hayley Garrod from the Chirk Swift & House Martins group, a community conservation project. We’ll explore their nesting behaviour, species identification tips, and how you can get involved with citizen science to help record and monitor swift colonies when they return from Africa during their epic migration.
Free to attend but booking is required.
Doors open 6.45pm for tea and coffee. The talk will begin at 7pm.
This talk will take place through the medium of English.
