Liz Bonnin, president of The Wildlife Trusts, says:

“It’s a real honour to be part of The Wildlife Trusts’ family, and I’m thrilled to be able to share what I’ve learned – both as president of the federation and as a broadcaster – about the transformations needed to secure a brighter future. Craig Bennett is an inspiration to me, and if our past conversations are anything to go by, my hope is that this evening will leave you feeling motivated and filled with hope during these challenging times for us and the planet.”

Frances Cattanach, chief executive, North Wales Wildlife Trust said: “I am thrilled to welcome Liz Bonnin to North Wales. Her visit to the Conwy Valley on 3rd December will give her a first-hand look at our work for nature recovery, and I look forward to showing her how our local projects are making a real difference for people and wildlife. It promises to be an inspiring and stimulating evening, and a powerful opportunity to celebrate and deepen our shared commitment to protecting and restoring wildlife here in North Wales.”

With doors open from 6pm, guests are also invited to browse the wildlife stalls exhibiting at the event to learn more about various projects and partnerships at North Wales Wildlife Trust. These include a stall showcasing its seagrass and saltmarsh restoration work through interactive VR headsets, as well as Gofod Glas, which will be exploring freshwater in the Conwy Valley. Visitors will also find Christmas gifts and membership opportunities. Drinks are available from the bar before the conversation with Liz Bonnin and Craig Bennett commences at 7pm.
