About the event

Local naturalist, Jonni Price, will lead a mid-summer walk around Bryn Pydew Nature Reserve, where he carries out weekly butterfly monitoring transects. This will (hopefully) be a good time to see a number of species in flight, including the purple hairstreak butterflies. There should also be plenty of other wildlife to see around the reserve too!

Dress appropriately for weather conditions. Note that the terrain is rough and steep in places, and so good boots or walking shoes are advisable.

You are welcome to bring your binoculars if you have them.
