About the event

This is a chance to join our Shoresearch volunteers and learn about our intertidal surveys to see if it's right for you. We're out every month in three hub areas documenting what we see on shore to build a vital baseline and help to record changes.

Open to people of all levels (16+ only) - we'll provide all the training you need!

The event organiser speaks conversational Welsh, please feel free to use Welsh or English during this event.

Mobility

The shore is flat, but with a need to cross a large outlet pipe, beyond which is algae-covered rocks and rockpools in the survey area.

There are toilets close to shore in the village of Benllech.

What to bring

Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather and kneeling on a wet shore area, boots or wellies are the most suitable footwear.
