Volunteering with Living Seas Wales

Thank you for volunteering with us. Your support on shore and as every day advocates promoting the need to help conserve our marine species and ecosystems is vital. You’re part of a lot of what we do and here we’ll update you on volunteering news, but also project news, who we’re also working with and additional updates on various other aspects of our Living Seas work.

For new volunteers, please register by following the registration link first and then get in touch with one of our marine team officers (see our Volunteering Opportunities list, below). We have a variety of ongoing projects each of which will have specific volunteer opportunities.

  • Learn more about just how important seagrass is and what plans are in place for restoration here and elsewhere, read more on our Seagrass Ocean Rescue page.  We will have more volunteering opportunities coming soon. Keep an eye out here.
  • Thank you to all of you who helped with public/individual eggcase hunts and archive work for Project SIARC. We have funding for eggcase hunts with community groups for another year. If you're part of a group and would like to train up to carry out eggcase hunts of your own, get in touch. See more about Project SIARC via the picture links below.
