On 7 July, our two healthy chicks were officially ringed by licensed experts. These unique Darvic colour rings act as their lifelong passports, helping us to track their future migrations, monitor their survival, and recognise them from afar.

Meet the chicks

• 9L1 (Male): Weighed in at 1,485g with a 337mm wing length.
• 9L2 (Female): Weighed in at a hefty 1,690g with a 282mm wing length.

The weight difference highlights a classic osprey trait – females are significantly larger and heavier than males, even when they are younger!
