Building a wilder future
Young people are the future. We believe that they deserve opportunities to form lifelong connections to nature and have their say in creating a greener future. We work to empower and inspire young people across North Wales to take action for nature and wildlife in their local communities in a safe and inclusive environment.
Young people taking the lead
Youth voices matter and young people have the ability to transform their communities and the wider world. We work with young people to create change through a range of actions, from campaigning and advocacy to practical work and skills development - all guided by our young people.
Our work
We work with young people across North Wales. Our Môn Gwyrdd youth forum, established in 2016, has been helping young people in north-west Wales to develop their conservation skills and learn about nature and wildlife. This year, we are excited to be launching a new youth forum in north-east Wales for the first time. Watch this space!
Our Ocean Rescue Champions programme has been giving the young people of Anglesey (aged 11-16) the opportunity to learn about our oceans and help restore seagrass meadows.
We also work with schools to spark curiosity for the outdoors and help school-age children explore and discover nature and wildlife.
