About the event

This coming-together of North Wales Wildlife Trust and Gwyrddni Dyffryn Peris is part of Llanberis Swift Day - a celebration of a very special bird that needs our help. 

Led by Lowri Vaughan, the workshop features various techniques and materials and is open to all. Collage, clay and cut-up poetry will all be on offer and there may be more mediums to work with. As well as getting creative on the day, we invite people to bring their own swift-inspired artwork, photos, fashion, poems, songs, etc. to share. 

Swifts have incredible aerial life-stories and fire people's imagination across the world. They bring life and energy to Llanberis streets every summer, so please join us to channel that energy into art and community! After the event, participants are welcome to stay on for a North Wales Wildlife Trust swift training workshop - for volunteers who want to find out how to help swifts.
