Creatures of the night - Welsh language walk

A nightjar, a bird with heavily camouflaged feathers in shades of black and dark brown to look like tree bark. It is sat on the end of a branch, with it's wings spread upwards, near the tips of the wings is a bar of white which shows this is a male.

Location:
Enjoy a dusk walk through this striking post-industrial landscape, where we’ll look out for bats, nightjars, and glow-worms (if we're lucky!). Bring a torch and be prepared for midges.

About the event

This walk will be approximately 2km long, mostly on the old factory roads which elude to Gwaith Powdwr's industrial past. Be aware there are some steep sections and short sections over uneven gravel track and concrete stairs.

This event will take place fully through the medium of Welsh.
