About the event

Join our monthly walking group, exploring nature and wildlife with different themed walks. This month's theme is red squirrels.

The red squirrel is one of the UK’s rarest mammals, native to the British Isles since the last Ice Age. Once widespread, their population in the UK has declined significantly following the introduction of grey squirrels in the late nineteenth century. Learn more about this charismatic animal in this guided walk.
