Join people across the country taking part in the 12 Days Wild challenge and get to know nature this winter.

What is 12 Days Wild?

12 Days Wild is a festive nature challenge that encourages you to do one wild thing a day between 25th December and the 5th January each year. Your challenge is to make as many connections to nature and wildlife as you can.

Why take the challenge?

Winter wildlife may not get as much attention as spring wildlife, but there’s so much to discover! It’s a brilliant time to see migrating birds like fieldfare and redwing, or to watch the amazing spectacle of starling murmurations. Longer nights are ideal for stargazing, and crisp winter walks through nature do wonders at chasing away those winter blues.
