About the event

The complex geology and wealth of habitats at Cors Goch make it one of Wales’s most diverse, colourful nature reserves: part of an internationally significant network of fens in Anglesey. We'll explore at a leisurely pace, looking for wildlife and enjoying the sights of spring.

No experience is needed. Bring binoculars if you have them and feel free to bring lunch. We'll stop in a meadow for a picnic at the end of the walk. Please wear sturdy boots as the board walk can be wet and there are some muddy areas.

The event organiser speaks conversational Welsh, please feel free to use Welsh or English during this event.

Mobility

The reserve includes steep, uneven ground in some places, and narrow boardwalks that can be slippery after heavy rain. Away from the boardwalk, areas of deep mud and open water may be encountered and should be avoided.
