Office space available at NWWT's Bangor Office, but with considerable flexibility re. home-working (probable short-term requirement)
Can you help generate income for the Wildlife Trust's vital work through sales of goods? Do you enjoy working with volunteers and running physical shops, but can also manage digital trading? Can you spot opportunities for business development which could help grow this aspect of our work? Do you want to make a difference for wildlife in North Wales? If all of these apply, we could be looking for you!

Our new Trading Officer will be a flexible worker, with the ability to think on their feet and willingness to use their own initiative on an hourly basis. They will be able to form strong relationships with volunteers, suppliers and landlords; balancing inspiring communication with excellent administrative skills. Crucially, they will be able to both continually evaluate the sustainability of existing operations and prepare/implement business plans to sustainably expand activities and profits.

This is a 2-year contract, ideally starting in November/December 2021, with the intention to extend if the post is successful. 

Please note that this a part-time position designed to allow flexible working, with a contract being offered at around 21 hours/week (= 0.6 FTE) based on the successful candidate's circumstances.  For these hours, the take-home salary would therefore be £14,132-£16,675.

When office-based work is permitted, the role can be based at NWWT's Head Office, Bangor.  There will be considerable ongoing flexibility re. home-working, and this will likely be a short-term requirement.
