Spring birdsong walk with breakfast

A close up of a small bird sitting at the very top of a tree. It has mainly pale brown shades of plumage with a black bar across the eye and cap on the head, and it's beak is open in a way that makes it clear it is singing. Set against a very pale blue-grey sky.

About the event

Celebrate Dawn Chorus Day with us! Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature at our Nantporth Nature Reserve. In spring, the dappled sunlight illuminates the whites and yellows of wood anemones and primroses on the woodland floor, and the varied canopy of the site creates the perfect habitat for an array of woodland birds including the melodic song of the blackcap, the high-pitched calls of the beautiful nuthatch, and the sharp 'kleep' cry of oystercatchers along the Menai Strait.

The breakfast will include a traditional egg, bacon and/or sausage bap. Mushrooms, vegetarian sausages, dairy free spread, and beans will be available for vegetarians and vegans. To help us minimise food waste, we welcome you to contact the event organiser in advance if you will be attending.
