About the event
Historically, Gwaith Powdwr Nature Reserve's remote, steep sided valleys made it and excellent site for the manufacture of explosives. Following the closure of industry on the site its buildings and natural habitats became a refuge for a variety of wildlife including rare bats and birds. The site is now one of North Wales Wildlife Trust's reserves and tonight Luke Jones, the Reserve Officer for Conwy and Gwynedd, will tell us tell us about the history, current wonders and future plans for this hidden gem.
This talk will take place through the medium of English.
