Sandwich terns, small sea birds with white plumage and distinctive black caps, black beaks with a small yellow tip. They are scattered among low lying vegetation, with their fluffy grey chicks.

Know before you go

Dogs

Assistance dogs only

Due to the sensitive nature of the area and the presence of ringed plover and oystercatchers on the ridge, we cannot allow dogs at this event.

Assistance dogs are allowed - if you need to bring an assistance dog please contact chris.wynne@northwaleswildlifetrust.org.uk so we can help reduce the impact of any assistance dogs present while maintaining accessibility for this event. Thank you for helping our conservation efforts.

Mobility

The ridge is made from large loose stones, walking may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Parking information

Off road car parking near viewing areas. Please note that the car park is large and unmarked with a very uneven surface and some large potholes.
