The Welsh Beaver Project has partnered with Lafan Consulting* to produce a new education toolkit Beavers in Wales for primary schools across Wales available as a FREE digital download.
This illustrated 40-page bumper pack is full of learning activities, games and challenges including 'Beaver Board Game, 'Beaver Dam Challenge' and 'Beaver History and Legends',
Beavers provide an excellent example of how everything in nature is linked and their study can be incorporated into many subjects in the curriculum. I have no doubt that all children will enjoy learning about beavers and the fantastic work they do from this ‘Beavers In Wales’ education pack.
*The Beaver in Wales Learning Resource was designed and produced by Meinir Lloyd Jones, Lead Education Consultant from Lafan Consulting. Meinir has a background in education as a former headteacher and as an Estyn Inspector. Rooted in Wales, Lafan Consulting was founded in 2020 to work with clients and partners to bring people together, deliver ideas, work on solutions and to innovate.
