We're super excited to announce that Project SIARC are through to the finals of The National Lottery Awards.

As a Project SIARC partner we are incredibly proud to be a part of this multi-disciplinary partnership led by Zoological Society London and National Resources Wales. This year we'll be competing with 16 other projects from across the UK to be named the National Lottery Project of the Year and you can help us win by casting your vote.

Project SIARC stands for Sharks Inspiring Action and Research and it's aim is to bring together communities, fishers, researchers and government to safeguard sharks, skates and rays, whilst cultivating a new appreciation and opening-up access to the underwater environment in Wales.

Since it's launch in 2022, North Wales Wildlife Trust and you - our amazing team of Citizen Scientists, have all been playing our part by recording shark, skate and ray eggcases all around North Wales. Click on the button below to find out more about Project SIARC and the National Lottery Project of the Year...and don't forget to cast your vote before 9th October!
