Lovely news this morning Friday the 3rd of June) after a very wet night up at the lake LM6 (mum) finally revealed that chick number 2 had arrived at some point in the night. With chick number one arriving on the first its likely the final egg will hatch before the weekend is out, we will keep you posted.

The volunteers who watch through the night are doing a fantastic job of reporting and keeping the birds protected and the data we collect will be invaluable over the coming years to ensure these birds do as well as they can and should.

As you can see in the video above both chicks seem to be doing very well.
