Get ready to go wild!

Thursday 3rd May 2018

Make the most of the wildlife that’s right on your doorstep with the help of NWWT this June …

30 Days Wild is the UK’s month-long nature challenge which takes place every June, with people signing up to do something wild every day throughout the month. These ‘Random Acts of Wildness’ can be big or small – you may decide to visit one of our nature reserves or you might simply decide to lie on the grass during your lunch break and spend a few minutes cloud-spotting. The key challenge is to take at least a few minutes out of each day to appreciate the natural world around you.

You can sign up to 30 Days Wild right now at www.wildlifetrusts.org/30DaysWild

Once registered you will receive a FREE pack in English or Welsh (either digitally or via the post), full of ideas on how you can incorporate Random Acts of Wildness into your day-to-day activities. Schools and businesses can also sign up to the campaign and will receive customised resources to help their staff and pupils ‘go wild’ for 30 days.

The Wildlife Trusts will also be celebrating 30 Days Wild this year with the ‘Big Wild Weekend’: 16-17 June. Here in North Wales we will be marking the occasion with a series of special events and activities taking place across the region – just check out the events listings on our website for more information.
