We have over 250 committed and enthusiastic volunteers who are involved in every aspect of the Trust and without whom we could not survive.

Regular work parties are held on our nature reserves, managing species and habitats and maintaining access for visitors.
- There are regular work parties on Wednesdays at both Gwaith Powdwr nr. Porthmadog and Marford Quarry nr. Wrexham.
- Join the Arfon Branch on the first Friday of every month at Spinnies Aberogwen helping to maintain this bird-haven site!
- Work parties meet on our other reserves regularly throughout the week and occasionally at weekends- please contact us for an up to date timetable.

Marine Awareness was established in 2001 by a group of enthusiastic volunteers who wanted to spread the word about the wonders of the marine environment and the importance of its conservation. Today, the majority of our work throughout North Wales is achieved by dedicated volunteers. Why not join us to conserve North Wales’ marine life and become a Marine Awareness volunteer?
