A wet grassland with good hedgerows, Caeau Pen y Clip is a haven for wildlife.

The reserve is on the outskirts of Menai Bridge, about 1 km from the town centre, at the end of Penlon. There is space to park on the roadside next to the gate. Access to the reserve is over two stiles. Visitors can also get a key from the Bangor Office to allow parking on the reserve and access through a gate. There are no paths on the reserve. Although the fields are generally level, they are not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
