We will only run physical events when and where lockdown regulations permit.  Any that do take place will have appropriate safety measures in place, including implementing social distancing and ensuring that cleaning/sanitising facilities are provided.

We are also running a range of excellent digital events – make sure you keep an eye on our website, e-news and social media channels for the latest news!

Volunteer activities

We will continue to run and promote our usual volunteering programme, given that travelling to provide “voluntary or charitable services” is permitted by Welsh Government.  As with events, all volunteering with NWWT will take place with appropriate safety measures in place.

Nature Reserves

Our 36 nature reserves are open, helping you maintain a connection with the natural world.  Please note that you should always observe social distancing requirements when visiting these sites and follow the Countryside Code.  You can contact us in advance for details if you wish.

Core support work in the offices has been reduced to two staff. All other staff who can work from home are doing so. Llys Garth is not open to the public.

Our members are more important to us now than ever.  In such turbulent times, the ongoing support of those who love wildlife is critical to help see us through this difficult time.  Thank you, everyone!

Our shops rely almost entirely on outstanding voluntary effort.  They are sadly still closed so we are losing income from sales, and the unique contribution of our volunteers.  We are running our on-line shop, so please visit to support us in our work.
