Distribution - What we have been doing
In 1996/97, 230 people sent in their sightings of Brown Hares throughout North Wales. Hares were shown to be widespread and mainly found around farmland where stock levels were not too high.

Since February 2005, we have been once again collating records on the sightings of brown hares throughout North Wales. So far, (as of Winter/ Spring 2007) we have received over 700 records from all over North Wales and the number is still rising!
