This is a collaborative project run by the North Wales Wildlife Trust and funded by Anglesey County Council through the AONB’s Sustainable Development Fund. Its aims are to raise local awareness of biodiversity and conservation, through organising events and activities at the Trust’s coastal nature reserves, and through production of related interpretation material.
A big part of the project is the involvement of local schools in a programme of field trips. These visits are designed to allow kids to discover some of the richness of wildlife on Anglesey, and to help put it in the context of the wider environment. |
